With just a few drops of blood we are able to perform a complete blood analysis with our cutting edge analyzers.  In only a few minutes we can perform a complete analysis of your pet’s blood chemistry, including liver, kidney, and thyroid function. This allows us to quickly prescribe the treatment and proper care for your pet.  We also utilize a network of referral laboratories and pathologists to ensure your pet receives the highest caliber of diagnostics.

We routinely sample lumps and skin swellings painlessly with a tiny needle to look for cancer.

Many illnesses are often caused by parasites.  We have the capabilities to look for microscopic intestinal worms, heartworm, giardia, coccidia, and parvovirus.

If your pet is having urinary accidents, we can evaluate their urine for infection, crystals and protein loss.  

EKG - ECG Electrocardiogram
These machines measure your pet’s heart health.  Not only do we utilize EKG as part of a routine wellness examination, we monitor all surgeries and anesthesia cases with EKG.  Often there will be changes observed on an EKG long before your pet shows any obvious signs of illness.

Blood Pressure - Doppler Ultrasound

Just like with people, high blood pressure often goes undetected in pets.  We also utilize blood pressure monitoring during surgery.  This same device can detect fetal heartbeats early in pregnancy.

X-Ray Radiology

Diagnostic imaging allows us to diagnose many problems.  We regularly utilize x-rays in finding the cause of illness, as well as for wellness checks to make sure your pet is not developing arthritis, tumors, heart disease, bladder stones or liver disease.  We are also equipped with a separate dental x-ray machine.
